Joints in Motion
In a previous email I told you about the steps to live longer.The first one was exercise.I would like to explain more about that.
“Use it or lose it” is an expression that can apply to many things but I would like to apply it to your joints.If you are a patient of mine you know that I check the mobility of your joints on every visit.
My 3 step pattern is always the same
1.I check the motion of the joint.
2.I use a variety of methods to restore the motion of that joint.
3.I check the motion of the joint again.
I check the mobility of your joints because joints that move properly will not cause specific muscles to be overused.Overused muscles cause pain.It will also help prevent chronic problems like arthritis, Forward Head or Old Age Posture.
My way takes more time than just quickly cracking all your joints, but I learn your body’s specific patterns and I can give you the specific stretches and/or exercises that will quicken you progress.
